FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Today was the long anticipated/dreaded first day of school, and the very first module that we had was Arts Appreciation. Well, after attending 2 hours of the lesson, I must say.. I don't really have the knack for artsy art! There is a lot of forms of art, but learning how to appreciate them in-depth.. It kind of kills any form of love that I have for any piece of art. I may be saying this because I am still relatively new to making appreciative comments about art, maybe my viewpoint would change after taking 7 weeks of this module!
THE BUS WAS VERY CROWDED, the textbook + laptop were really heavy and I had to stand throughout. Sheeeeeesh. I left the house at 6.45am and was still late for school, so I guess I need to leave at 6.35am on Friday. T__T
Yup, totally loved the idea of having free toppings. Next time, I'm gonna bring along my own pack of crushed peanuts to go along with my yogurt. :D
So it was a supposed 3 hour lesson, but the lecturer ended more than an hour early because he had to rush off somewhere. I have no idea where, but we stood to benefit anyway! This calls for a trip down to Macdonalds for breakfast! Tehehee, been such a long time since I had Mac's for breakfast. The last time I had it, I think it was around end July after I just resigned from TCC. Hotcakes was heavenly with maple syrup and butter~ and brilliant company where we just talked and laughed. It was a pity we didn't sit with the TP gang though, I was looking forward to bonding with them or something.
1 hour plus of eating/chatting/laughing, and decided to call it a day. The bus was SO empty when I boarded, and I have nothing to complain about that! It's rare that I'm LEAVING Bugis at 11am, because usually at this time, I think I just woke up or something. Heh heh.
So this is how half of my Monday is spent?
I FINALLY GOT MY NAIL POLISH REMOVER! T_T The blue nail polish on my nails are chipped and all, but I ran out of nail polish remover so I just left my nails at that. I can finally change nail color! T_T It was fortunate for me that the rain stopped just as I alighted from the bus.
I just have to blog about last Saturday, because I met up with Elaine and QY! We had Thai Express for dinner, and later headed to Yami Yogurt for JUMBO peach yogurt with free raisin toppings. Raisin toppings courtesy of Qiuyan, cos she had this pack of Ligo raisins with her. HAHAHAHA. (Y)

The neighborhood estate is like a maze, I think in Jurong the estates are all like mazes and once you go in, you won't find your way out for an hour. :p We played Monopoly Deal at her house! I am completely new to the game, even the boardgame itself, so it took me around 2.5 rounds to get what was going on. Haha! By the time I got it, we played another round and got tired of it. We ended up planning what to do for our next gathering, which is most probably my birthday celebration! Steamboat at my house? My mother is trying to talk me into having Zhi Char somewhere, but I think having a steamboat at home is more cost-saving, albeit a little inconvenient. I guess I'll decide again!
WE ARE GOING TO PITCH A TENT AT EAST COAST PARK! Tehehe, but that is after the 7th month. Totally can't wait, I haven't been to East Coast Park ever since I got back from China. :(
OKKKAYYYY. This is getting to be a pretty long entry, I guess I will end off here. 3pm lesson tomorrow, HELL YEAH.

Confinement Escapade.
After 3 consecutive days of being cooped up at home, I finally stepped out of the house today to embark on a journey to.. Bugis. Yesterday night, I thought to myself "This isn't right, I shouldn't be rotting at home anymore. I have to get myself out of the house and go somewhere farther than Bukit Panjang" Therefore, I asked Belinda over MSN whether she wants to meet up for lunch TODAY. And so, we did!
Bugis has lots of cheap and good eateries in the small alley ways behind Bugis Junction, so we walked around there. Found this cafe (I forgot the name but it's a steakhouse) which has a lunch promotion at 2 4-course set meal at $20 NETT. This offer is too good to miss! The steak was pretty good, but Belinda commented that her fried dory wasn't perfect. Clam chowder can be improved on, and the iced tea was good. ;)
After lunch, off to the next targeted area Bugis Village because I want to look at $5 watches! Yes, current obsession with watches even though friends and colleagues have already given me 2. Bought a watch that was more formal, I hope it will last! Belinda was also looking for a hairband so we headed to the 2nd floor where there were lots of accessories. Earrings at 3 pairs for $5! Once again, I couldn't resist the temptation and bought 3 pairs! LOOOOOVELLLLYYYYYYY.
Bugis Village, then on to Illuma where we just window-shopped. We also headed to National Library to explore our UNLV campus! What can I say.. I love it! Maybe I am looking forward a teeny bit to starting classes? Tehehe.
Full day camp tomorrow, so I gotta rest soon.

First Day of Being Jobless.
First day of being jobless. Dad almost smashed the door of my bedroom because he thought that I was already late for work, so I was awoken at 7am in the morning despite having slept at 4am.
Went back to sleep another 4 hours and just woke up at 11. I am sick, so it isn't all that pleasant of a holiday for me.
On the 20th July, I had gone to the Universal Studios with QY and Elaine. Boy, did we had SO MUCH FUN. USS is a world of its own, and when we go in, we really don't want to leave the place. There was Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, Jurassic Park, Far-Far Away and Madagascar. Our favorite ride has got to be the Revenge of the Mummies, so much so that we took the ride a grand total of 5 times. :D Lunch in USS was wonderful too, it was made so much cheaper because of the food vouchers.
We were there for one full day from morning till night. There was the blazing sun, the downpour, the laughter, the ponchos and happiness! QY and El got me a watch which has the Madagascar penguins on the face and I LOVE THE WATCH (and my friends) SO MUCH! At that moment, I really felt so so so so blessed to have these 2 wonderful friends with me. :)
School's starting in about a month's time. Looking forward or not? I still can't tell.

Cup of tea and a book = Heaven!
I am reading "Three Cups of Tea" with a cup of tea! :P
The book is fabulous, and I want so much to make a difference just like how Greg Mortenson did it. Gosh, I don't think it will be easy to just budge into Afghanistan just like that. :O
Anyway, had lunch with QY, Cerise and Ivan. We had Souperlicious which was just a copy of Subway + Soup Spoon. The cookie doesn't taste good, but the Caesar salad was good. The soup was pretty fine too. I didn't take a photo, unfortunately. It's more worth it than Soup Spoon I guess. Ivan had to go back to Suntec and so the three of us just walked around. HMV does not have any U-kiss in stock, at least at the Citylink branch. I am damn disappointed! :(
There's work tomorrow, Friday is an off-day, Saturday I am working again (and it's Earth Hour) and Sunday I will be going out with my beloved Starbucks colleagues! Totally cannot wait. :'D

Catching Up Session with Chuwen!
Met up with Chuwen and had a 4 hour chat!
I love little catching up sessions where we can focus on what each other is saying. Tehehe.
Saw Wei Qian because she came in to avoid the rain. :P

I am absolutely loving it because it is sewn by her! I know the pains because I got really bad results for Home Economics in secondary school. LOL. Anyway, I want to get Chuwen to teach me cross-stitching!!

First LOG outing in half a year!

Lunch @ Chili's, followed by random walking around town. I had loads of fun and laughter!Went to do my nails at BPP after that, it's sapphire blue now. ;)
Got a replacement phone! It's the pink Samsung Pixon, exact same phone as Farrah the soul-mate :P Now it's really twin phones.
