dunno why i havent been updating for sucha long time. nothing's up!
been searching up budget airfares to taipei and found really good deals, and the hostel room rates are cheap as cheap can be! that's why i have decided, im going to taipei during the nxt long-term break! :D soooo excited! found hostels which are near shihlin too! can take the MRT down.
yeah im getting excited over these little things. and they are all going to happen only NEXT year. better start saving up first. :)

anyway, i wanna buy this month's Teenage mag! my sis went to buy teens. like wth?! i dont want Teens!! hope i can buy teenage later. :D
anyway, nothing much to update. dont think im going for the CBTL bbq later because i will be the only chinese there. no, im not racist~ just that they will be speaking in malay and i will understand nuts. =_= going out with part of speculators later. think not many's going to turn up. but oh well, we'll enjoy ourselves anyway? hehe. :P
i think i shud start generating a new wishlist. or do away with it, since im so broke now. I WISH FOR PAYDAY TO COME FASTER. :D

nature walk!
yesterday, dad wasnt working so he brought me sight-seeing around the lim chu kang area(and that includes the kranji reservoir). the amount of rubbish! omg, cannot be described using words. saw loads of water snails, little fishes(there was one which looked like nemo) and wild flowers. even went to this place where the kelong peeps will take their catchings to sell. saw really big lobsters and live prawns jumping about! wooo. but that place is really stinky! smells of yu xing wei.
anyway, here are pictures of my nature walk! :D

i think the reflection of the bridge in the water is really nice~
the flowers which i saw along the way! the last one looks like mini orchids. :O lu bian de ye hua ni bu yao cai!
water snail eggs! they're hot pink in colour and soft. :S my dad squashed some with his fingers. itchy hands...
2 baby snails residing in an empty clam-shell. i think they killed the clam and took the home.
and there's an empty house by the sea! but we have no idea how to get to that house.. it's a dead-end. =_="enjoyed the morning scenery, and watched ppl fishing. nature walks are really great! but pls spare me the stinky rubbish part! :(

happy chinese new year!
happy cny to all! yesterday, spent almost the whole day cleaning up my messy pig-sty house and still didnt manage to finish cleaning even by 12am! ahahahha. to hell with tradition lah, at least the house is clean for the rest of new year. after new year, it's going back to its usual form~
grandparents are over at my hse now. no lah, they are not doing new year visiting. some tradition is still left mah! i went cny visiting in the afternoon and to my horror, my cousins and aunt is there! OMG! in the end, i was there with quite a black face because i really dont like my paternal side relatives. and my aunt brought along some unknown relative and my mum had to give an additional angbao! bloody hell. i hate seeing my relatives! and of course, they asked me where im studying now. i told my first lie during chinese new year! told them im studying in ajc. waddahell man. every time we meet they will ask the same questions. pissed off!
anyway, here are pictures from cny eve and one from this morning, before we set off for cny visiting. ;D

been sucha long time!
didnt realise that so much time has passed since i last updated! now it's 1 plus in the morning so it's supposed to be chinese new year eve already. cleaning up the house! and i cant even vacuum because all my neighbours are asleep already, nobody's "mugging" with me and my mum as we clean up.
anyway, bought a new phone! it's the same model as yeeshan's one, but it's black and bronze in colour. yeah, mum is forcing me to trade in my w550. but i dont think im trading it in, unless im really broke or something. still have to treat vanessa to starbucks after chinese new year. think i can survive through that with my angbao money. lol~ :D cant wait for the nxt payday already. ;)
AND THERE'S STILL THE LOG PARTY NXT FRIDAY! :O can i dont go? haha. :x

thanks to kak and dayah for helping me with the station, that's why i can finish so early today! :D
am surviving without Yi Xuan(refer to previous previous entry), but im still anticipating her return! yeaaaaah, and chinese new year is coming. :\ and payday is coming(HURRAY!). so many things coming up, and i still havent register for poly. hahaha. cant decide whether to put mass comm first or TRM first. both also got weakness and good points.
oh well. tmr still have to work. my legs are really aching already!

44 years old already! haha~ after work we went to eat at this coffeeshop at keat hong. mum gave a treat, actually it was not much la. something like a potluck, ordering different types of food and sharing them. after that it's back home for the cake! :D mum bought the valentine's cake instead of the birthday cake, but it's also a cake lah.
the cake looks nice right? but i think it would have been better without the 2 roses at the side. simplicity is the best(sometimes). oh well, im having quite a headache as to what course to put as my first choice. seeking advice here and there from a colleague, from a senior, from everywhere. hope i can make my decision soon, the deadline's wednesday! :(Friday, February 9, 2007 @ 10:55 PM
i miss YI XUAN!
my phone's bluetooth name is Yi Xuan, therefore i miss Yi Xuan! (and here i confirm that my phone is female -.-) anyway, congratulations to the ppl who did well, and to the ppl who didnt do as well, this is not the end. there is definitely some way out. :)
went alone to orchard to have my phone serviced. i can only get it back on the 15th of feb! that is so friggin terrible, no music for almost a week. and im going to work for 7 consecutive days starting from today! i forgot that my off-day on sunday was taken from me. wtf sia! i really hate having to work so many days at one go.. sucky schedule. and there is this back-to-back day where i work closing the day before and opening the very nxt day. bloody hell! :(
i miss my phone, and i think it's very miraculous that i wandered around orchard alone! and i kinda got lost and went down the escalator before walking over to the other side and going up again. hahaha. i rmb that was the place that me shufen and serleng(i think) got lost way back in lower sec years. and i got lost there again! :P at least i made it home alive! ;)
okaaaaay. now im using this lao kok kok phone, but better than nothing la. i dont really use the phone except to listen to music, and this lao kok kok doesnt have music. so i dont think i have much use for this phone. lol~

phone's going for servicing tmr because there's some problem.
and i realised that my phone wasn't bought on 27th feb last year. i bought it on 9th feb! so THAT MEANS THE FRIGGIN' WARRANTY IS GOING TO LAST UNTIL TMR'S 12AM! that's why i gotta go down to Isetan orchard after work(or go down to the service centre at Toh Guan Road, but i have no idea where that building is!) woooow, it's very rare that i have my phone for one year! the only other phone which i have for more than a year was my Nokia 6610 which i got at the end of secondary 2. my SE k700i almost lasted a year, until someone stole it when i dropped it. :(
anyway, most probably going to buy a phone soon. but not too soon, there are just so many other things which have more priority(although i cannot think of one now). HOW AM I GOING TO LIVE WITHOUT THE MUSIC IN MY PHONE WHEN I TRAVEL TO AND FROM WORK! oh gosh. i cannot survive without a music player! maybe i can dig out the discman from somewhere in my brother's room~ ;P tmr i'm working morning shift! bleh. morning shift. the only good thing bout morning shift is that i can go home early. ahahhaha.

dad's bday this sunday and im working! bleh. maybe im going to ask someone to replace me.. when liana asked me whether i can work on sunday, i totally forgot that it was dad bday on sunday! omigod. oh well, next next week it's going to be payday! dont wanna spend too much, i really want to save up. there really isnt much to save with sucha low pay. but, save bit by bit will become a lot mah!
anyway, chinese new year is coming~ although i dont like going around visiting relatives.. it's really a chance for me to take loads of off-days at one go! MUAHAHAHHA. looking forward to chinese new year!! :D

it's a busy week
im working a total of 5 days this week, which is really a record! usually i would only work 3 days a week because outlet wants to cut down on labour costs. anyway, i should be happy, since i will get a higher pay, but then deep inside, i would prefer an off-day anytime.
when shareen sent me to west mall to get some stuff today, kenny asked me to transfer to west mall. seriously i dunno whether i should transfer there or just quit after the outlet closes down. the good thing bout working at coffee bean is that, there is satisfaction when customers are happy with ur service BUT the bad thing is: STRESS. i hate stress so much i would do anything to get away from it. constantly facing stress at coffee bean because some customers just cannot appreciate/understand. oh well, i will just leave this for consideration sometime later~ ;) im procrastinating even when it comes to this!
work today was ok. saw a record number of ang mohs! there was this Malibu Dream gang.. those peeps ordered like 5 - 7 malibu dream and each at a separate time. after lynn has started blending the first malibu dream, then the second ang moh will step up to order another malibu dream. damn irritating lah, but quite funny to see lynn's expression. was called to deposit money at the bank, and i saw this person depositing like, 4 huge stack of $50 notes! OMG. there should have been a few hundred thousand in there?! i queued for almost an hour lah, lucky this added into my OT, or else i will set fire to the bank. hahah~

a customer can make ur day!
wow, this is the first time that a customer has really made my day! or am i too easily satisfied? oh well, whatever!
this particular customer is called Zack, and i think this is first time i saw him since i started doing chasher duties. he struck a little conversation with me and after that, he made an effort to say "thank you yee shian!". these 4 simple words really made my day! in the end, i was in a good mood throughout work! lucky zack came when i just started my shift, so i was in a good mood for very long(till now even) ;D so when i go to mac's or whichever place nxt time, guess i would probably make an effort to take note of the person's name so that i can thank him/her. I LOVE ZACK! lol. nxt time if i see him and he orders a "small" i would upgrade to a regular for him. ahaha.
during work, i also saw yunshi, poh wah, naquiah, this other bp band girl whom i cant rmb the name. interesting day today, and the only bad thing that happened would be the coffee powder that i wasted! OMG. when i turned my back to prepare the coffee for a customer, the bag containing the coffee powder that i just ground dropped and the powder landed all over the countertop! sheesh. lucky vicky was in a pretty good mood, or else i would probably be dead. :x
2 weeks or so to chinese new year! dont think i have much time(or money) to go and buy clothes or anything. and im lazy to go shopping too. maybe i will wear clothes from last year. lol~ :P
