090825 Blogger is having some problems...
Haven't been updating because Blogger is giving me some problems (i.e. I can't upload a single damn photo unless I upload all of them to Photobucket first then insert the links here). I am still unable to post photos up here now, so I am just going to write. I have loads of photos to share though, Blogger is really giving me problems at the wrong time. :(
Exams is here! 3 papers, 2 down and the last one coming up on Thursday. STMO (a.k.a Strategic Travel Management?) is the last module. The last 2 modules have not been exactly smooth-sailing, because the questions were.... tough! @__@ STMO is probably going to be like TRMK (a.k.a. Tourism and Resorts Marketing) because it's the same lecturer. Damn!
After the last paper, TR01 and TR02 are going to have a TRM party! Really thought that TR03 and TR04 should have been there since most of them have already finished their internship. But oh well, we will meet them again at graduation which is May 2010. :|
Did I mention that my departure is going to be delayed? This is heavenly news because I had so badly wanted to celebrate my birthday in Singapore! I got my wish granted, and I have more time to prepare myself too. I hope the visa processing takes more time, but not too much time. LOL.
I am quite irritated at this blogger break-down. :(

OMG
I reformatted my laptop, and I got super fast laptop speed now.
BUT ALL MY SONGS ARE GONE. So I have treated it as a way to.. clean up my iTunes library? T_T From 700+++ songs, I am only left with 156 of them now. OH MY GOODNESS.
Anyway, have finally started with RMTR revision. The calculations are giving me such a headache, I am going to get Parkinson's Disease just thinking about it. :S
Let me introduce to you: The Marina Barrage in Singapore!
It is the first reservoir in Singapore which is not located in an isolated place, but right smack in the city! That place was awesome! Ok, firstly, why did I even start talking about this place? LOG(a.k.a. Lot One Gang, my secondary school friends) celebrated the birthdays of August babies by having a picnic there! :D I had such a great time. ^__^
Loads of families there, kite-flyers, etc.
It's not the effect of my camera, it was really threatening to rain. :S

090810 Lot One Outing with Family + NDP photos
Can anyone see my photos when I post them up? LOL. I keep getting errors when uploading them, but I can see them. :|
Went to Lot One with my family! I had traditional Korean steamboat for lunch, not very authentic, but still very nice. Spotted a really cute webcam.. BUT IT'S FRIGGIN EXPENSIVE! GOSHHHHH. This was how the webcam looks like:

Dad bought some stuff for us siblings and refused to let me pay for myself. I bought a screen protector for my phone and a giant yellow comb.

090809 Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!
It was our nation's birthday! I am very proud to be a Singaporean even though Singaporeans have a really ugly side sometimes. :|
I cried during the national anthem just now because I was wondering how much I would miss Singapore when I am in Shanghai. Venturing into the unknown has resulted in me being very attached to Singapore at the moment, cos I have to admit it: Singapore is my comfort zone.
I had LOADS of fun @ NDP today! AND I MEAN IT! Even though there were times when Singaporeans could really turn me into a potential killer convicted of murder... Generally, it had been an enjoyable day with lots of laughter! Most of the photos are on others' cameras, here are some of my own.

Got myself a new phone today (8th August) because I want to have a phone with good camera features before I go to Shanghai. Decided to buy the phone early so that I can get it to the service center if anything crops up. I got the PINK Sony Ericsson C905! Farrah is intending to buy the same phone too. Yeah man! :D Then our handphones can be BFF too. LOL!

Interesting isn't it! I think I am considered pretty near to Elaine and Yong Liang! Hope that we can get to visit each other or something. We will experience the Golden Week (click to find out more) when we are in China because Mid-autumn Festival and China's National Day comes together! I wonder whether we will get any off-days. :D

PT IS OVER!
Finally finished with PT presentation @ Meritus Mandarin today, so it officially means the end of all group projects in my academic life in NP! Was a bit nostalgic as April Ng said that she had been the one who watched us for our first presentation in NP, and also watched us for our last presentation in NP, that we had grown and changed so much over the years.
We took a lot of pictures before we went our separate ways. Not much chance of meeting up together like that again because we are just gonna get ready for our exams before going for attachment. I am going to miss TR02 so much, because we had been together as a class for 3 whole years! We have had the fortune/misfortune of staying together, but I will really miss everyone (even those whom I really hate sometimes).
Headed over to Ion for the intention of having dinner, but there were long queues at all the restaurants. We ended up walking back to Heeren where we had Waraku for dinner. "We" included Hui Qi, Lay Ying, Shuzhen, Chuwen, Ivan, Yinghui, Elaine, Shenn and me! Total of 9 ppl from TR01 and TR02. I can say it is extremely rare that this combination of people go out for diner together. LOL! And we kept laughing like crazy and all, too many funny things happened. The peach ice-cream thingie with the ferrero rocher in the center was pure heavenly! :D
Going to Shanghai in 23 days! I think I had better create a blog that is accessible from China, because blogger can't be accessed from China. Will keep everyone updated here.

Once again
Yes I haven't been updating for some time again. My internship for Shanghai was confirmed in the evening at 7pm which had me really taken aback because I was not expecting it, I had even thoughts of withdrawing from applying for OIAP because I was succumbing to the stress of not securing a place.
Upon receiving the news, I was elated and sad at the same time! It is really quite hard to explain the way I feel (I still feel this way now). It is like happy that I get to put myself to the challenge and experience the world, but sad that I am leaving my EVERYTHING behind. My family, my beloved bedroom, my friends, I am going to leave a part of myself behind!
I was still pretty calm when telling my mother about going to Shanghai, and she was happy for me. But when I was sitting in the kitchen, she kept sitting quietly beside me while I was using my laptop. My brother came to my room and teared as he told me that I am the person whom he is closest to in the family. Gosh, I am going to cry just thinking about it. Then Farrah also cried, which made me wanna cry. Hahaha~ Happy and Sad. This feeling is hard to come by.

From not knowing them at all because I missed out on the bonding session, to being part of the craziest group of people ever. G1~~~~~ :D Btw, I am frantically trying to have gatherings with all my friends now before I fly off. I am going to treasure my time in Singapore!!! I love Singapore.
