Common test is COMING! ohmygoodness! *runs around in circles! (Anyway,)Been watching Miss No Good a.k.a 不良笑花, which is VERY VERY FUNNY! (It is going to be shown on Channel U soon!). Didn't intend to watch this drama because I have never been an avid fan of Rainie Yang's dramas, but my HK friend did recommend this show to me, and Channel U is going to broadcast it, so I thought, why not? Yes! It's really worth watching! I GIVE IT 5/5 STARS! :D Going to the store BBQ later! It's supposed to start at 4, but it's already 3.58pm and I'm at home blogging. Shiqi did tell me that I can go any time after 4, so I'm taking my own sweet time. Let someone go start the fire first, I go there eat only. :P Alright, I'm off! Gotta start preparing! Ungodly. - No song today because I want to sleeeeeep very soon - I just realised I like to blog during ungodly hours, like now. That's why my entries are always one day late, if you get what I am trying to say. I always blog after 12am, which is always a brand new day and I'm still blogging bout the day before, sometimes it gets a tad confusing. But nvm, I shall blog as if I am still living the day before the clock struck 12. ANYWAY, had a fulfilling day by skipping tutorial and lecture and helping Clare and QY sell their brownies and crumbles. Did go for SPM lecture, but most part of it was not very meaning/I didn't pay much attention. The only important part was the beginning where Mrs Lim talked about the Common Test stuff. I HAD FRIGGIN 2 APPLE CRUMBLES WITH LOADS OF ICE-CREAM TODAY. I am typing it out here because I am so guilty about it, but I did shed the calories after that. WHY, you may ask? BECAUSE I LEFT MY WALLET AT THE UNDERPASS and only realised it when I was at the bus-stop opposite from NP. Therefore, I walked the overhead bridge a grand total of 4 times today! Yay, I totally love climbing overhead bridge stairs. Plus work today, I think I should have shedded all those crumbly calories. Heh. We're going to the airport again tomorrow :D! If home's my first home, school's my second home, then the airport must be my second and a half home with the sky train being the next most common form of transport after the bus and MRT/LRT. I pray that we will have fun tomorrow, AND I pray the people won't find us out. PLEASE GOD, I PRAY. Or else the mission won't be fun anymore! :( Tuesday, November 25, 2008 @ 12:24 AM
Today is a winding road that's taking me to places that I didn't want to go Whoa (whoa, whoa, whoa) Today in the blink of an eye I'm holding on to something and I do not know why I tried I tried to read between the lines I tried to look in your eyes I want a simple explanation For what I'm feeling inside I gotta find a way out Maybe there's a way out Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer Do you know you're unlike any other? You'll always be my thunder, and I said Your eyes are the brightest of all the colors I don't wanna ever love another You'll always be my thunder So bring on the rain And bring on the thunder Today is a winding road Tell me where to start and tell me something I don't know Whoa (whoa, whoa, whoa) Today I'm on my own I can't move a muscle and I can't pick up the phone I don't know (I don't know, I don't know, I don't know) And now I'm itching for the tall grass And longing for the breeze I need to step outside Just to see if I can breathe I gotta find a way out Maybe theres a way out Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer Do you know you're unlike any other? You'll always be my thunder, and I said Your eyes are the brightest of all the colors I don't wanna ever love another You'll always be my thunder So bring on the rain Yeah I'm walking on a tightrope I'm wrapped up in vines I think we'll make it out But you just gotta give me time Strike me down with lightning Let me feel you in my veins I wanna let you know how much I feel your pain Today is a winding road that's taking me to places that I didn't want to go Whoa Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer Do you know you're unlike any other? You'll always be my thunder, and I said Your eyes are the brightest of all the colors I don't wanna ever love another You'll always be my thunder So bring on the rain And bring on the thunder, and I said Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer Do you know you're unlike any other? You'll always be my thunder So bring on the rain Oh baby bring on the pain And listen to the thunder Monday, November 24, 2008 @ 12:40 AM
YAY! Hello I am back, with a bag! ![]() ok, pardon the flabby arm but WOOOOOO! This bag is so damn nice I fell in love with it at first sight, and it's tagged with a stunningly beautiful price of $201! I GOT IT I GOT IT I GOT IT, in my dreams. :D Even if I were to buy it, the next nearest possible date would be the 7th December onwards. Hahaha. When I told mum about this bag which is so crazily beautiful in my eyes, she called me "siao" because this bag is $201. Ya, I also think the price is quite siao. O_O I shall give myself a 3 day shopping cool down period to see whether I really need the bag or not. The 3 day shopping cool down period has to be implemented when you are short on cash, you see something that you really want, and you give yourself 3 days to consider whether you really NEED it, or it's just an unnecessary WANT. Cool huh! I think you can save a lot with this 3 day cooling down period. At least for me la, because I will tend to forget what I had wanted to buy. But maybe not for this bag. Let's see.. I shall see again on pay day, which is like 2 weeks plus away. And I was just reminded that Common Test is coming. Even Wang Xin is allowed a study break, why don't I have one even when I request for it HUH? O_O Friday, November 21, 2008 @ 8:29 PM
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lessons passed in a whizz today because I enjoyed myself today! Was laughing throughout lecture and tutorial and lunchtime because there were so many random funny things to laugh over. It was fun today! I LOVE APPLE CRUMBLE WITH VANILLA ICE-CREAM! I have a confession to make. When I was on the bus journey home from work just now, I saw this guy drinking without his lips touching the bottle(because he was sharing the drink with his friend). At that point in time, I had sincerely hoped that the bus would give a violent brake so that the guy would get some hydrotherapy. I know I am really mean, but hey, I needed some entertainment on the boring bus ride home. And given the wild speedy fast-and-furious potential of 75 bus drivers, I was sure the guy would get a facial, but he didn't, so I feel really guilty for having thought about it and want to make this confession on my blog. HAHA. Ok, that was very random. I am going to talk about normal stuff now. Went to the airport with Elaine on Monday! :D Ivan dislocated his left arm when he slipped and fell at the underpass, YC fainted when she saw the bone at an awkward angle and both of them were sent to the hospital via an ambulance. Quite ridiculous but at least they got to share the ambulance fee, and XF had to accompany them. Initially, Ivan was to go to airport transit with us, but in the end, he couldn't. Elaine and I went to the airport to entertain ourselves first while YL and gang were still on the way. ![]() We really laughed our asses off and all, especially when eating Popeye's and on the train ride home. YW's laughter is very funny and YL keeps insisting the mash potato sauce is made of chicken oil. IT'S NOT LA!! More pictures.. Haha this picture is CANDID. We asked a tourist to help us take a group picture. In the end, YW forgot there was the 10 second timer. LOL! Both our and the tourist's reaction are super funny.
Yeah, the second picture. :)
A lot of Mickey Mouse stuff inside the airport transit area at T1. I tried Chopsticks massage at the spa demonstration workshop today, and I am quite unhealthy(given the food I eat and the times I sleep). Sophia's massage outcome was really damn scary la, there were like purlish red patches which made it look like she was violently abused (sorry, no picture). The therapist said that she was too stressed, that's why it's like that. If you are healthy, there will only be a slight tint of red on your back after the massage. For unhealthy people, there will be red patches which look like blood clot to me. Ya, quite interesting la, but I am sure I have no talent in massages. I am only fit to be the massaged, not the massager. Ok, it's 2.33am, I'm supposed to wake up at 8 later. Good morning. -Abrupt ending- Sunday, November 16, 2008 @ 1:36 AM

bleh bleh! For ECD lecture to be at 5pm, of course there were hardly any people who turned up. For TR02, the attendance was a grand total of THREE out of TWENTY. The three was: Cerise, Clare and me! The entrepreneur was an ex-NP student, and his turnover profit is quite high, so yeah, quite the pride of NP! And he wants us to remember that QUAILS ARE CHICKENS, NOT BIRDS. I am sharing this information on behalf of him. :\ No matter what the distance, you are not alone. I can understand how you feel because I felt this way before, and it was so depressing to the state that I dreaded going to school. However, I have gotten stronger, I have learnt a lot of things, that's why I can survive even I have no friends around me now. But you gotta know, I have been in your shoes before, so I understand and I can still feel goosebumps recalling how I felt that time. I really hope that you can become stronger than before from this difficult period, jiayou! :) And you are invited to our next date, I want to recommend a really romantic and nice place which you can probably bring your loved one next time. :D Thursday, November 13, 2008 @ 12:57 AM
VERY TIRING day. Anyway, the manager on duty was none other than Fad, who was also my manager on duty the last time I was attached there. He's really nice and funny, so I don't mind working with him. Instead of working till just 9.30pm, which was my initial working time, I worked till 11 instead. And I reached home at 12.20am. Going to Sungei Buloh and Botanic Gardens with I&E group mates later! I can't wait! I want to take lots and pictures and have fun. Haha! Tuesday, November 11, 2008 @ 11:28 PM
Skipped HBM lecture early in the morning (Actually it's not that early because my lecture's at 11am). Arrived early for tutorial, which is quite a miracle judging by how "punctual" a person I am, and the classroom was still locked! Elaine, Clare and I went to this empty unlocked classroom just opposite of ours and we had some camwhoring. What's really dumb is that, Elaine started doodling on the board with this marker that she got from somewhere, and she drew on the board. After doodling, IT INDEED IS A FRIGGIN PERMANENT MARKER! So we had 15+ minutes to save ourselves before the class which is using this classroom officially starts. Clare and Elaine ran to buy a whiteboard marker from Co-op to draw over the drawings and I stayed inside the classroom under the scrutiny of 4 students who had arrived early. So they were looking at me and I felt very awkward and was wondering whether I should leave the classroom when E & C came back. Thank God. We managed to erase the wreckage, but we all agreed this is one of the greatest jokes in life. =__= After school, went shopping at bp plaza with QY! Bought this bag which is a really cheap deal la, I couldn't just give it up. So I did buy it and I have to lock up my ATM card from NOW on. Yayness! @ 12:33 AM
I keep thinking that it's Thursday today for no reason, even though it's just the DAMN first day of the week. Symptoms of Monday Blues I guess. Anyway, I am so tired I can lie on the bed and sleep straight away. I think. I have this urge to cut my hair, but I really do not want to end up regretting my decision, that's why I haven't taken action yet. And I don't really want to spend money on cutting my hair as it's not on my priority list now. Maybe it will become number one on my priority list soon. I don't know what I'm writing here, so the conclusion is I should just get my ass to my bed and sleep. Saturday, November 8, 2008 @ 12:37 AM
FAST WEEK. The week passed awesomely fast and it's Saturday already! :D Plans for the day(Saturday):
Anyway, had a total of THREE presentations on Friday! One for SPM Newsbite, another for SPM tutorial and yet another for Tourism Law tutorial. Because there were so many things to keep us busy today, time passed rather fast (For me, at least). In the blink of an eye, the day was OVERRRRRR. I must admit though, T.Law lecture almost killed me because there was too much information for me to digest! I entered the lecture theatre being totally hyped up because I feel I can survive through, but in the end, I failed terribly. And I didn't pay attention for T.Law tutorial either! Was like laughing over random stuff and Fati-Lala (evil smile). Oh, one reason I am not working tomorrow: There is this power shut-down for the whole of the building where the Starbucks store is located, so the store can't open, so I don't need to work, HURRAY! Ever since I started working, just being at home makes me the happiest human on earth. I was gushing to my mother and sister just a couple of days ago, about how wonderful it is to be able to return home, how wonderful it is to just lie on my bed, how wonderful it is to just step into my home(even though it looks like some garbage dump now). Saying all these made my mum wonder whether I was going to do some 傻事 and my sister was convinced that I was a nut-case. THE FEELING OF BEING AT HOME IS HEAVENLY! I bet everyone loves their home, or at the very least, their family. My brother has been elephant-glued to his laptop and Maple Story lately. He plays till 7am in the morning, sleep till 4pm and the vicious cycle continues. You can see how horribly addicted he is to the very cute game. The time that I spend playing Maple Story is inversely proportionate to the time my brother plays Maple Story. I have been spending less than 5 hours a week playing MS while my brother spends more than 10 hours a day STRAIGHT playing MS. I am quite buay song to see him lying around the house the whole day in his boxers, I pray that God/Buddha/Allah will enlighten my brother and one day, he may walk out of his smelly room and say "Jie, I want to study at NUS 5 years from now". WAAAAH, I tell you ah, my whole family will cry tears of joy. Alright, I have set a new resolution to eat fast food only ONCE A MONTH. Therefore I have recorded down my Macdonald's outing with mum in my diary. No more fast food for the month of November! :D Let's hope I stick to this rule! /EDIT Change of plans in the end, and I stayed at home all day reading Da Vinci's Code. Managed to finish the book in a day (Quite miraculous for someone who has never finished reading more than 2 books since start of 2008) |
