Had sushi with mum today, and went back to my Starbucks store.

A day spent rather meaningfully!

actually there is no big deal about reaching the 50th entry, but i couldn't think of a title! :P

i didn't go cycling in the rain after all, instead my family except bro went visiting 2 farms. the first farm is a fruit farm! can anyone guess what fruit it is from the picture below? :D

IT'S A DRAGONFRUIT! this is the only dragonfruit farm in singapore. situated at lim chu kang lane 4, nobody can miss the farm. after turning into lane 4, we could already spot unripened dragonfruits on the cactus plants which is almost all over the farm, lined really neatly. besides the dragonfruits, the owners also planted aloe vera, pandan leaves, passionfruit, etc etc. the passionfruits grow on vines and look like green apples! i forgot to take a picture of the passionfruits though.

these are the buds of the dragonfruits, which later grow to become really pretty flowers, but these flowers only bloom at night so i couldn't get to take the picture. we bought the dragonfruits on the spot, it's $6 for 1Kg and quite worth it! i think the dragonfruit is very sweet. we also ate dragonfruit jelly, drank dragonfruit drinks. lol. it was a very dragonfruity trip. =_=

after that, we went next door to the Hay's goat farm! it was so damn smelly. i remember when i was in primary school, we had a school outing to the cow farm. i couldn't stand the stench and vomitted cos it was just too much for my nose! at the goat farm, it was just a teeny bit better and i really had to try very hard not to puke. and my hate for the smell and taste and everything bout mutton pretty much made everything worse. despite the stench, i still took some pictures~
