090705 It is my sister's birthday I was so tired after the NDP show that I fell asleep once my head hit the pillow. Totally unconcious, till around 12pm. Sundays are for sleeping in late! :D Went out for my sister's birthday lunch at Al Azhar. What's with me and Al Azhar nowadays, I seem to keep going there. : Had plain naan and shared briyani with my mum and brother while my sister had prata and my dad had thosai. Headed over to Lot One to just walk around, and we really just window-shopped without buying anything! It was raining almost the whole of today, and I don't like to be wandering around in the outdoors when it rains. :\ Before going home, we went over to Bukit Panjang Plaza to buy a birthday cake for my sister. We had the mango cake from Bengawan Solo! Some pieces of the mango were DAMN sour, but the rest of the cake was rather good. We have tried out all the cakes at Bengawan Solo already, except for the ones with cartoon characters printed on them. Maybe I will get them for my 19 year old brother. Haha. Photos from today! One photo from yesterday! There are more photos though, but they are all in Si Hao's phone. :S Ushers are not allowed to take photos, so how did this come about? These 2 army photographers die die also want Mui Teng(The girl on the left) to gather ushers together to take a photo(I think they were required to take at least 200 photos a day or something), but she didn't want to disrupt the flow of people. In the end, she conveniently grabbed me to take a photo with her. This was how we ended up in the Flickr album for NDP 2009. Hahaha. |
