090704 NDP CR3 Had an awfully tiring day over at the NDP CR3 show today! :( I think it was because I was having my period, so I am around 2 times more likely to be really lethargic. However, the tiring part was only the packing of the people. Other than that, everything else was fine, from my perspective. There were some minor panicky situations today, but they were quickly solved, so yeahhhhhh. Before and During the Show..... The ugly yellow shirt today was... ugly. Makes everyone seem... yellow. Hahaha. However, it really made us stand out even in the night, cos we were pretty bright(both in the brains and on the surface). Finally got our security passes, and our uniform has yet to arrive....... KFC for lunch man! :( Then there was this barely edible food for dinner :( , fireworks were nice! There was this woman today who got me really pissed off. SHE IS THE EXTREME SINGAPOREAN WHO DESERVES A BASHING AND A TIGHT SLAP ON HER FACE. >:( Her other relatives who were KIND ENOUGH to move in were all "persuaded" by her to just block the whole world's way. Good job auntie. She is such a VHEE VYE! After the whole show...... I helped about 5 couples/groups of people take photos of them with the center-stage as their background. I think I have good photo-taking skills because they were all satisfied. Hahaha. This group of aunties and uncles also came to emphatise with me saying that ushers have really tough jobs. So cute. ^__^;; This army officer was walking past me when he overheard me telling some departing people "Hope that you had enjoyed the fireworks just now". He stopped beside me and ask "Did you enjoy the fireworks?" Me: Not really (Today's fireworks was not the most powerful) He: Then you ask them whether they enjoyed the fireworks? Me: Aiya, I have to be 官腔 mah He: (Looks stunned) Wah Me: I will just assume that they are enjoying the show, because I cannot tell them, "You hated the fireworks right"? He: What is 官腔? Me: 官腔 means being politically correct He: Ohhhhh He: Were you involved last year? What are some suggestions you can give to improve on the arrival plan today? Me: (Blah blah blah blah blah blah.... Giving suggestions in progress) . . . . . . So through this short conversation, I found out that he is 21 years old. I swear he looks just 18 -> Those JC fresh graduate look. He just came back from studying in Horse-tralia (I didn't know why he kept wanting to pronounce it like that, probably some internal joke of his) and this was his first time being involved in NDP, and some sergeants of his are involved for the second time. :\ After that, he was receiving a message on his walkie-talkie (or something like that) and he spilled his water on the floor and some on himself. LOL. What is the moral of the story? Horse-tralia didn't teach him how to multi-task =___=" Ok, just kidding. He is a nice guy. |
