Lunch Gathering + Starbucks
Had a lunch gathering with fellow G1 members. I was expecting a larger group of probably at least 7 or more, however, only 5 of us turned up in the end! It was a pretty pathetic sight, but I laughed a lot today. "Why Drive when You can Walk" & "Why use Facebook when you have Friendster" & mine-strone soup in the literal and direct pronounciation compared to mini-stro-ni soup. It was pretty darn funny. I bought the chocolate biscuits which Crayon Shinchan ALWAYS eats!
I was absolutely fascinated when I saw it because I never thought I would be able to experience the biscuits in real life. I haven't tried them yet, will come back to blog about the taste once I've tried it. ^___^;;
I went to Starbucks Singapore Land Towers after that to look for my colleagues and hang around at the same time. I have always wanted to try sitting at the Stabucks store where I work on a Saturday, because I would usually be working. So today I had the luxury of doing so, and oh boy, it's a darn good place if you really want some peace and quiet on a Saturday! I practically finished reading "Digital Fortress", and I'm left with about one chapter or so.
Helped a teeny bit with closing, then Sky and I both agreed that we didn't want to go home early. We managed to persuade Syida to come for dinner with us, and later Aghil joined us too. LOL! So the 4 of us went to Yishun to try the Nasi Briyani upon Aghil's recommendation.

All the food looks really nice right! They have the same color tones. Heh heh.
Aghil went home first, while the 3 of us went over to North Point Starbucks. LOL. We did not buy anything, and just sat there like a bunch of fools. Then Syida said "Take photo la", which started a series of events which got us laughing like crazy asses.
There were so many hilarious photos which were deleted by either Syida or Sky, and it was really such a pity! :( I really enjoyed the company, and there may be a store outing next week which I guess will be lots of fun! ^___^
